I was introduced to lampworking (melting glass with a torch) while attending a demonstration with a friend at an art tour in Putney, Vermont. That was over 20 years ago. My fascination lead me to books, tutorials, and most importantly to instructors and classes that allowed me to hone my glass working skills.
I am forever indebted to those from whom I have learned so much.
I am originally from Connecticut and worked in my previous life as a business analyst for a health insurance firm. Happily, I retired in 2014 and currently reside in the Poconos of Pennsylvania. For now, I am free to devote my time to the exploration of glass and fire as a self-employed artist.
