I was attracted to lampworking (melting glass with a torch) while attending a demonstration with a friend at an art tour in Putney, Vermont. That was 17 years ago. Research on the subject lead me to books, tutorials, and most importantly to instructors and classes to allow me to hone my glass working skills. I am forever indebted to those from whom I have learned so much. I am originally from Connecticut and worked in my previous life as a business systems analyst for a health insurance firm. Happily, I retired in 2014 and currently reside in the Poconos of Pennsylvania. For now, I am free to devote my time to the exploration of glass and fire as a self-employed artist. My darling husband Bill crafts our silver bead caps and bails and provides lots of support. We hope you enjoy our work.
